In 2185, Antonio's Latin clan thrives in the warm, resource-rich south, bolstered by the women taken from Hollis's tundra clan. Happiness prevails until a ship from the east arrives, carrying brutal Mongols led by the ruthless Khan Temur. Despite their smaller numbers, the Mongols' savagery overwhelms the Latin clan, capturing the women and killing all men to maintain "purity." Temur, enamored with the Latin women's curves and the white women's blonde hair, claims sole breeding rights. Desperate, surviving Latin men stage a coup by a campfire, killing some Mongol leaders, but Temur's brutal retaliation wipes them out. As the Mongols prepare to sail their captives to the Orient, African pirates, physically dominant and relentless, ambush their ship. The Mongols fight fiercely but are no match for the pirates' strength.
