A book for anyone whose dad has made them laugh – or cringe!
My dad doesn’t like babysitting. He says no one should sit on babies. My dad doesn’t eat seafood. He says there’s something fishy about it. My dad doesn’t lie in bed. He says you should always tell the truth. My dad thinks he’s funny.

I found this book disappointing. My 4 yo granddaughter did not find it at all amusing and I must say neither did I. I bought it on line on the strength of the promo and had I read it in a bookshop, I would never have purchased it.

Comments about My Dad Thinks He's Funny:
Great funny story for young kids. I gave this to my son when he became a Dad for the first time - he likes to make wisecracks and thinks they are funny so this was the perfect tongue in cheek gift!

Comments about My Dad Thinks He's Funny:
My grandson is just starting to read and really loved all the old gags most of us heard about that stage in our lives.
He worked his way through, with some help; then reread the book, loudly declaiming all the bits that he found very funny.

More a series of 'Dad-isms'than a story but entertaining to see familiar lines.

This book was funny and obviously aimed at the littlies but this granny enjoyed it and passed it on to my granddaughter who works with Special Needs chilren in the hope that they may get some giggles out of it, too.

I liked the book it brought back memories of what my dad said to me as I was growing up but this book is not something I would sit down and read to my child every day over and over again.

I brought the book for my 10 year old son. He really enjoyed it and could connect with the sayings as he has heard most of them from me time and again. I would suggest it would be a good present for children of 10 or slightly younger.

I bought this book as a gift for my young nieces and nephews as it is typical of their Dad and probably dads everywhere. We all had a good laugh as we read it.

There is only one thing wrong with this book. IT IS 100 PAGES TOO SHORT. It brought back so many memories.
