Blunt: A Biased History of Australian Rock isn't in alphabetical order, it isn't definitive and it doesn't tell the whole story. It's a messy, honest slice of Australian music history, a collection of tales from a time when anyone could start a band, play a few nights at a dirty hotel and stagger home feeling good about it all. A time when fanzines where typed up on an old Olivetti, photocopied and stapled together and nobody cared about spelling mistakes; when bands recorded in living rooms and sold tapes at the door.

Bob Blunt is a fan. He called people up, stuck a tape recorder in front of their faces and made them talk; about their history, their favourite anecdotes and the events that shaped their musical lives.
