Fireteam Sabre holds the record as the most efficient and lethal Vanjir team in the USG. Combining the best of the Iskisen and their Human allies, they give hope to their dwindling species as the vicious Orcs continue their indiscriminate slaughter. But after their mission goes south, Sabre is stranded on an alien world plagued by war between the primitive natives and a zealous alien collective known as the Xelthar Empire. Sabre's leader, Vazn Arakjan, must face the wrath of the Xelthar and the Orcs, navigate the natives' culture, and reconcile with loss, all while searching for a way to get his team back home.
