Unga has found a rock, and the world is about to regret it.
Breakfast used to mean finding something he could bite. Now a well-aimed blow can crack a shell, open a path, and make the System notice. Unga wants to know what else it can do. His best friend Enk wants to know whether he can stand farther away.
Their experiments draw Tik's sharp eye and Tak's talent for cord into a growing collection of tools, skills, and arguments. Every improvement buys them a little more reach. It also puts something larger within biting distance.
With hungry animals outside and loud opinions inside the troop, the friends must make their new builds useful to more people than themselves. A clever trick can win a fight. Keeping everyone alive through the night takes help—and Unga is still learning to put the stone down long enough to ask.
Opposable Problems begins a prehistoric-fantasy LitRPG buddy comedy where progression is earned, ancient wisdom is open to dispute, and the next bad idea might actually work.
