The Battle of Thornhurst is behind Allystaire Stillbright, but the challenges are far from over. After recovering from the costly ordeal, the Paladin must find a way to bring together the bickering Baronies to prepare for the next fight . . .
Meanwhile, the corrupt deity Braech, the Sea Dragon, is not about to yield power that has so long been his. He and the scheming Choiron Symod are assembling a mighty force in a crusade against the newly returned Goddess and her fragile following.
As the final battle approaches, Allystaire, the Arm of the Mother, must rally survivors—including some of his oldest enemies—to face their most powerful foe. For the Sea Dragon only sees two options for the Mother's faithful: submission or death.
