What is normal?
I'm still not sure what that is.
What I didn't know is how much getting custody of my sixteen-year-old niece was going to change my life.

Being a dud witch has always been the normal for Avery. Growing up in a coven and not being able to do magic made her feel different but she learned to blend in with non-magic humans and feel normal again, until her sixteen-year-old niece comes to live with her and her unaware husband. She learns that fate has a plan and she better hang on tight because it's not a normal ride. She tries to navigate her life still stuck in the past instead of living in the present moment, until she can't run and hide anymore.
