ZOOGAMI is a collection of all new amazing origami patterns for making lifelike wild animals and is packaged with the specially designed papers needed to create each animal. Crafters of all levels can follow the easy-to-understand directions creating their very own paper wildlife park.
Origami is the traditional Japanese art of taking a flat piece of paper and, through different folding and sculpting techniques, creating shapes, animals, and objects without the use of scissors or glue. Since the only requirement for creating these often beautiful works of art is paper, the art of origami has continually been considered one of the more popular crafts.
Zoogami takes traditional origami one step further by featuring all new patterns that teach readers how to fold their favorite zoo animals, and by providing specially designed paper that mimics their fur, spots, scales, and feathers. Learn how to make stunning animals, birds, insects, and fish, with step-by-step instructions and illustrations. Using paper and card, the projects in the book demonstrate the enormous number of ways to use paper folding in order to get beginners started on these beautiful creatures, keep them interested, and set their creativity alight.
