Wonders of the Wild

Often looked upon with awe, sharks have been fascinating children and adults alike for decades. In Wonders of the Wild: Sharks, we get up close to 50 of the world’s most fascinating sharks.

From the well-known big fish such as the great white shark and tiger shark to the lesser-known little fish such as the cookiecutter shark and goblin shark, there’s sharks of all shapes and sizes waiting to be discovered.

Each shark is beautifully illustrated by Gustav Dejert, and marine biologist Dr Charlotte Birkmanis shares her expert knowledge on these remarkable creatures of the deep. You’ll find information on their habitat, diet, conservation status and size, as well as a glossary and plenty of other fun facts along the way.

Wonders of the Wild: Sharks is the first in an exciting new series of books for children that showcase the wonders of the natural world.
