Comments about What to Do When You Worry Too Much:

This is an easy read and helps parents to work with their child who has anxiety. It is written in a manner that engages young children and is easy to understand. The illustrations complement the text, providing a visual explanation about anxiety and how maladaptive behaviours arise from that, and provides realistic strategies to manage anxiety in a helpful way.
      Highly recommend it

Comments about What to Do When You Worry Too Much:

A great help for children who worry. It normalises the problem so that the child knows it is not alone in suffering from anxiety and gives strategies that a child can easily follow. I got this book for a nine year old and it was easily read and understood. I needed to interpret some words because it was written for an American reader and some of the references to activities weren't relevant here such as "sledding". Apart from the few words that didn't fit with the Aust ralian culture, the book was interesting and gave lots of ideas that could be put into practice. It would be even more suitable for children who assist in the garden as the references to growing tomatoes would be more vivid for someone who had experience growing them.

Every Chapter had a work page to either draw or write in.

The book gave lots of child friendly strategies and great analagys to help understand Primary Aged Children's Anxiety.
