A sensitive, detailed and informative guide to male puberty, this book will prove invaluable for both young boys and their parents alike, tackling key subjects from the physical changes that occur at this time to the emotional upheaval this can cause.
Growing up is a whole lot easier if you have some idea what to expect. This book describes exactly what will happen to your body in a straight forward, easy-to-understand way, and it explains some of your feelings too - all you need to know for this important time in your life.
I bought this book for my 12 yr old son to help him understand the changes to his body. He was pleased to receive it and read it from cover to cover. And although I will always be happy to answer his questions. This book has been a great help for him.
Excellent Intro for 'That' Talk
Bought for nine-year-old son. An excellent introduction into all aspects of puberty. Enough info to provide immediate answers and room for one-on-one discussions with parents later on. Most chapters were relevant for his age yet others were (in my mind) more appropriate for older boys (e.g. masturbation).

Adolescent boys will find this book answers a lot of their questions and help them to worry less about the changes taking over their bodies. Reading these books will help young people to become more self-assured and feel more comfortable talking about their concerns.' TES Magazine
'For me this book has been a great tool for talking about a subject that... children are required to face. It provides a safe way of dealing with what I know they need to know, without alarming them.' The Adoption Social
