When Alice Love surfaces from a strange, beautiful dream to find she's been injured in a gym, she knows that something is very wrong. Her first concern is for her unborn baby, and she's desperate to see her husband, Nick, who she knows will be worried about her. But Alice isn't pregnant. And Nick isn't exactly rushing to her beside. She is a mother of three going through a bitter divorce. Alice has lost ten years of her life - and she wants them back.

Industry Reviews

'A bittersweet tale by a gifted writer, whose light touch doesn't stop her exploring darker themes, such as infertility and the sad erosion of a once radiant love' - Australian Women's Weekly Book of the Month 'What [Moriarty] writes are acute social comedies of the feminine, where the domestic is more political than cosy... Technically this premise is a challenge, which Moriarty makes appear effortless... bravura depiction. Great stuff' - The Age

Fun easy read.... just like all of Liane Moriarty's

Nice light easy read.

I LOVED this book so much! Finally getting back into reading, and this truly was a page turner. This is the 2nd book of Moriartly's that I have read, and absolutely loved I can't wait to read them ALL! It made me think about the craziness of life and what it would be like if you couldn't recall 10 years of your life. How crazy would that be?!

I would recommend to a friend

I have read and really enjoyed all Liane Moriarty's books, 'What Alice Forgot' is definitely in my top three of hers, and I have already given it to a friend to read. It's easy to read, good thoughts and ideas behind it, great as a book before bed or book away on holiday.

One of the best books you could ever read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It kept me interested & the story line was very thought provoking without being too 'heavy'.

I will be reading everything by this author

I read everyday when I find a good author and the characters in Liane Moriartys books keep me wanting more. The stories always have an interesting twist but it is the characters interactions and feelings that keep me interested more so than the actual story

A really captivating read

I decided to get this book for a book club. It captured me at the first page, even though it seemed a bit cheesy at the start I wanted to keep reading. I really wanted to know how it ended. I already had a preferred ending and I would have been disappointed if it had ended contrary to my expectation, but at the same time I enjoyed how the ending was explained in a way. You also really appreciate the beginning when you have read the book and get to the end.

Great as usual

Liane always delivers!
