About the Author

Frané Lessac is the creator of A is for Australia, A Is for Australian Animals, Australian Baby Animals and Under the Southern Cross. She is also the illustrator of Pattan’s Pumpkin, Midnight, The Donkey of Gallipoli, and The Greatest Liar on Earth as well as many other books for young readers.

She was born in the United States and now lives in Australia.
