Based on the Buddha's sutra, this is a book about transforming and healing ourselves so that we can be a resource for the transformation and healing of others. The four methods are mindfulness of the body, mindfulness of the feelings, mindfulness of the mind and mindfulness of the objects of the mind. This book teaches the reader how to be intimate with oneself; how to deal with anger, jealousy and trauma; how to nurture the best qualities in one's children, one's spouse and one's friends; and how to greet death with equanimity and compassion.
