Product Description

In the next instalment of the New York Times bestselling Throne of Glass series, follow Chaol on his sweeping journey to a distant empire.

Chaol Westfall has always defined himself by his unwavering loyalty, his strength, and his position as the Captain of the Guard. But all of that has changed since Aelin shattered the glass castle, since Chaol's men were slaughtered, since the King of Adarlan spared him from a killing blow, but left his body broken.

Now he and Nesryn sail for Antica - the stronghold of the southern continent's mighty empire and of the legendary healers of the Torre Cesme. It's Chaol's one shot at recovery, and with war looming back home, Dorian and Aelin's survival could depend on Chaol and Nesryn convincing Antica's rulers to ally with them.

But what they discover there will change them both - and be more vital to saving Erilea than they could have imagined.

Discover the untold story of Chaol's journey to the southern continent in this companion novella to the Throne of Glass series by #1 New York Times bestselling author Sarah J. Maas.

Fantastic spin off the the Throne of Glass series! I wasn't a huge fan of Chaol in the original series but absolutely adore him now after reading Tower of Dawn.

A very fitting addition to the series!

What. A. Series! Tower of Dawn admittedly starts out a little slow compared to the pace of its predecessor Empire of Storms but let me tell you it does not disappoint!! Once you get into the story it rapidly picks up pace and becomes an unputdownable novel and by the end you're disappointed it had to end so soon. The writing style of Maas, as it has in all of her work will provide an abundance of fuel for the imaginative fires within you and leave you with no shortage of moments where you'll stop reading just to daydream about what you've just read. I know I did, no series I've ever read has given me so much to dream about throughout the book. The only disappointing part to the novel is that I will now have to wait until May 2018 to find out what happens next! I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a well written story that is adventurous and funny with just enough romance to keep you wanting more.

Book 5 in the Throne of Glass series. Wasn't excited at first as a bit of a deviation from the main characters, but boy was I wrong! Loved it! Hurry up with book 6, I need to know what happens next.

Part of the joy of a great fantasy series is the gradual discovery of the world, so carefully and lovingly constructed by the author. This series delivers that pleasure in spades ... * Thoughts from the Hearthfire *
