Ghouls live among us, the same as normal people in every way-except their craving for human flesh. Ken Kaneki is an ordinary college student until a violent encounter turns him into the first half-human half-ghoul hybrid. Trapped between two worlds, he must survive Ghoul turf wars, learn more about Ghoul society and master his new powers.

Shy Ken Kaneki is thrilled to go on a date with the beautiful Rize. But it turns out that she's only interested in his body-eating it, that is. When a morally questionable rescue transforms him into the first half-human half-Ghoul hybrid, Ken is drawn into the dark and violent world of Ghouls, which exists alongside our own.

                Comments about Tokyo Ghoul:

Absolutely magnificent, the art is very unique. The story draws you in as well.
I have myself, watched the anime, but reading the manga feels so much better, there are even bonus scenes that weren't in the Anime!
10/10 would definitely recommended this to a friend, in fact I finished the book upon receiving it and have already lended it to a friend.

                  Comments about Tokyo Ghoul:

Manga is great with an interesting concept, however what really shines with this series I feel is its incredible artwork, a kind of mix of styles with some excellent full page panels.

                        Comments about Tokyo Ghoul:

I read a lot of manga, I've watched the anime to tokyo ghoul but it took me a while to get the full collection of the manga.

The characters are so different, the book doesn't focus of romance, it's more well...logical, with twisted plots.

If I found these book earlier I would of been reading them before the Anime
