Another interesting read, more in depth poetry

I enjoyed the first " milk and honey ", this seemed to appeal to me more. This 2nd book, seems very personal to her, her family, women of cultural upbringing, very deeply written on many levels. It flowed but you have to appreciate her style of poetry. As a woman we can look up in life not down, life has challenges only the one person can fulfill this regardless of past, history, pain, culture and stubborn morals, this person is you , with in you. See what she comes up with next book?

I love Rupi Kaur work, this book is amazing, although not as good at her first 'Milk and Honey' its still beautiful work. Each section relates to some part of her life and there is something everyone can relate to.

Rupi Kaur is an amazing modern day poet. Her poetry is so descriptive. It is so easy to read as it creates such a vivid image to engage you with every word and image on the page. There is no effort when it comes to reading this as you don't want to put it down.
