One of the Most Beautiful Stories of Our Time

5

This story (and many others by the same authors, as I am finding) is pure magic. It is soft and sweet in all the right ways; something often lacking in modern children / youth culture. It is patient in how it unfolds, and the characters are delightfully refreshing. You must have this book on your child's shelf. It will be one they pass on to their own children when the time comes. A highly commended favourite in our home.

My kids love this book - imaginative, a bit scary and full of surprises. Still a little difficult for my four year old to grasp the actual concept of the story but she still loves it.
