I have been a peak performer all my life. Growing older and retirement have been a huge challenge for me. I am wrestling with both these phenomena. THE GIFT OF YEARS is a truly brilliant book which can be referred to each day for the rest of your life. It is enabling me to look at the same realities that I have been wrestling with, but this time through different eyes. It is eminently readable, and very lucidly written. I found thankfully much less esoteric than some of her other books. A chapter a day will keep the "black dog" at bay! Buy several copies. Some for you and others to give away to your friends who would benefit from it.
