But a newspaper needs news, so soon Frankie is spying on the resident witch and revealing her family secrets in print to every house in the neighbourhood! In between, Frankie rescues a neighbour, meets a real-life editor, saves her mum's relationship, and discovers that some nincompoops make really good friends.

Twenty-three-year-old Ingrid Jonach grew up on the Central Coast of New South Wales. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing and has worked in journalism and public relations. She loves surfing, reading and sleeping. She hates aeroplanes, telephones and apostrophes. She has previously published a children's picture book called A Lot of Things.
