Whilst creating breathtaking marvels from armfuls of blooms is what Joseph does daily, his true passion is sharing his knowledge to encourage and inspire absolutely anyone who wants to work with flowers to be able to do so – and do it well. About the Author

Aged just fourteen, Joseph Massie began his first Saturday job in a local florist in his home town of Liverpool, UK, and it was here that his love of flowers began. Joseph considers himself to have been privileged throughout his career to exhibit at, and win, some of the world's most incredible floral shows, including winning five consecutive Gold Medals, and four Best in Show titles, at the prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show. His artistic work has been featured in press including The Times, The Independent, The Daily Mail, and his work has been commissioned by international institutions and brands including, The Boston Museum of Fine Art, The New York Botanical Gardens, Universal Studios, Sky and The White House.

In January 2015, Joseph founded his own Floral Art Studio, which sits alongside Joseph Massie Flowers, a luxury flower studio dedicated to delivering some of the UK's best floral wedding and event design, and Joseph Massie's UK School of Floristry. With The Flower School, Joseph's goal is to provide an invaluable tool that can be cherished and referenced time and time again as people embark on their own floral design journey.
