Perfect for first time users

5

This was a gift for a first time group house resident (aged 19) who didn't cook much, worked shift work and who owned but hadn't used a slow cooker. It was informative, well illustrated and is now used at least twice a week. It enables him to come home to a ready-cooked meal at hair "dinnertime" meal at midnight, knowing that he didn't need to go the fast food route, and that his flatmates were able to eat at a normal hour. It's a great "how-to" book.

Don't bother

I think that this will be a marginally useful cook book. It is easy to follow but not worth the price.

Bought this for my husband after we saw interview with author on TV. Brilliant move. We now test a recipe per week so night off from cooking for me. Recommend to busy wives and mothers.
