Macros don't match reality

The front of this book has basic information on the keto diet which I already knew so I was more interested in the recipes in the second half. Unfortunately there weren't a plethora of recipes and the macros for the recipes (particularly the net carbs measure) was not the same using the products available from the supermarket and running them through a calorie and nutrient tracker. I understand there is variation which arises from which products you use but I consistently selected products with the lowest net carbs I could find and the recipes still came up with greater than 6g net carbs per meal. Given that the whole sell of the book is that meals under 6g net carbs make it easy to follow the keto diet, this failure kind of defeats the whole purpose of the book. Not really a fan.
