Product Description

This is the only money guide you’ll ever need.

That’s a bold claim, given there are already thousands of finance books on the shelves.

So what makes this one different?

Well, you won’t be overwhelmed with a bunch of ‘tips’ … or a strict budget (that you won’t follow).

You’ll get a step-by-step formula: open this account, then do this; call this person, and say this; invest money here, and not there. All with a glass of wine in your hand.

This book will show you how to create an entire financial plan that is so simple you can sketch it on the back of a serviette … and you’ll be able to manage your money in 10 minutes a week.

You’ll also get the skinny on:

• Saving up a six-figure house deposit in 20 months

• Doubling your income using the ‘Trapeze Strategy’

• Saving $77,641 and wipe almost seven years off your mortgage

• Finding a financial advisor who won’t rip you off

• Handing your kids (or grandkids) a $140,000 cheque on their 21st birthday

• Why you don’t need $1 million to retire … with the ‘Donald Bradman Retirement Strategy’.

Sound too good to be true? It’s not.

This book is full of stories from everyday Aussies — single people, young families, empty nesters, retirees — who have applied the simple steps in this book and achieved amazing, life-changing results.

And you’re next.

Reading this book was like having a spiritual experience - I am not religious but it was like the angels were singing and I could hear them. This book is the answer to our prayers. My wife and I are pretty across a lot of what we have to do to gain financial independence but there were areas we were still not clear on. This book has provided the remaining pieces of the puzzle. We were badly burned by 'financial planners' at the time of the GFC with them putting us into inappropriate investments and then promptly going bankrupt when the GFC hit. I has taken us up until now to begin looking at the future again and this book could not have come at a more fortuitous time. I am going to make sure I give a copy of it to my two boys when they are 12 years old so they can get their heads straight and make the right decisions and not make the same mistakes their parents made. Thank you Scott - you are an angel in human clothing :)

This book is aimed at the majority of our population, people who have no plan, no money sense and very limited financial acumen.
The basic principals are sounds, but the advice is very vague and over simplified and suitable only to those who are starting out from a low base.
Other than the idea of spending less that you earn this book is NOT suitable to high income earners or those with assets or higher ambitions.
A much better read aimed at a similar audience is Mark Bouris' Yellow Brick Road book.

I was recommended this book by my 25yo son. The only problem is I wished I had this book when I was 25. Have already started implementing the strategies & feel more in control than I have in years.

I like this book because it is written for Australians. The information is practical and has helped us to improve our financial situation. I have passed on a copy to my teenage daughter in hope that she will avoid the mistakes we have made.

This book has been on high rotation in our office...once I started reading, I had to share with the team! It's so informative, gives easy steps for action and allows you to take control in a world where there is so much fear mongering and conflicting information. LOVE it!
