The Art of Star Wars : The Force Awakens

This is a stunning artistic visual reference which shows how the concepts and ideas came to fruition for the movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The artwork is presented in the format of initial development concept art to more final concept art. You will understand the ideas behind the movie and appreciate how the artwork became more in line with the overall movie once the characters, setting and plot of the movie were determined and further developed. Regardless, even the concept art that wasn't used is amazing and you will appreciate each artist's visualization and amazing effort. A must for any diehard Star Wars fan and a must for any movie buff that appreciated the process of beautiful and breathtaking art and how it essentially is the building block of a movie.

OMG Almost The Perfect Experience

I absolutely adore concept art and Star Wars so, for me, this book is almost perfect. It contains a great variety of alternative character designs and landscapes which are featured in "The Force Awakens" and it is mesmerising to see how the plot and characters developed in the new movie. The book also hints (just slightly) to how the new trilogy will play out! A must have for any fan of Star Wars or aspiring concept artist. I would recommend this book to anyone - I couldn't give the book the five stars it deserves because there was some minor damage to the books pages, three were creased but the damage was not bad enough to warrant sending back.
