Good book

Good quality book, nice illustration, good content even if it can be polemic

A very well pitched book.

Our 8 & 10 year olds read and reread it, they were a little surprised, but 'weird' was the worst reaction. It's a great way to convey information that all of us would have found less comfortable otherwise. The clowns were cool.

Great book but beware....

I purchased this for my 8 year old daughter to make the birds and the bees conversation a little easier to explain. However after reading the book myself i decided she should not read this until she is a few more years older. Although it is very informative and tells the whole truth (which i agree with) it also explains or gasms and makes it sound like a fun thing to perhaps try (which i don't think is age appropriate for an 8 year old).

An excellent book

This is a wonderful book. Gentle and friendly illustrations, factual but not scary or embarrassing. I like that it discusses puberty in a light hearted way, and the different births / families at the end are awesome too. 1000% better than the old "where did I come from" classic. Highly recommended.

Great introduction to human lifecycle

Great book for our inquisitive 7 yr old who was asking for more details Re where babies come from. Touches on Ivf too.

Absolutely what we were looking for

Honest and informative as well as a bit of fun. Touches on the sex act but does not dwell.

Great book

This book is great, it deals with the facts openly and provides a good entry point for discussing these things with your children, especially 4 or 5 years olds expecting siblings.

Excellent detail

An excellent book with matter of fact explanations for children as it covers all the detail from puberty to conception to birth, but as such it is best aimed at later primary school years perhaps.

Ok, so everything is out in the open...

This book is great but I bought this for my five year old thinking it would be a little introduction into this topic but to my surprise - it fully explained the every detail of how babies are made. I would suggest this for older readers.

Adelaide, South Australia

This book is truly AMAZING

This book is perfect for all children and early tweens to answer all those "where do babies come from" related of questions. The picture and the wording make it easy to understand in a relaxed and informative way.
