faithfully researched

A good friend loved it. Raved about it. Personally I sensed a persistant presence of the Author in the narrative, making it less than entertaining. As an Australian I could read it objectively, without the native American prejudice of having a 'Democrat' or 'Republican' bias. That was good. I will donate it to our library. Then I can borrow it again if need be.

This book not only makes the film LINCOLN more interesting, it also adds much information to my knowledge of USA history. All politicians could gain much insight into their world by reading this book. A must for all leaders!
