Everything is absolutlt beautiful
The eagerly awaited desserts cookbook from Yotam Ottolenghi, and his long-time friend and collaborator Helen Goh, embraces indulgence, abundance and extravagance, serving up delicacies to celebrate, share and treat those you love.
The book is exquisitely photographed by the award-winning New York team Peden + Munk, whose work appears regularly in Bon Appétit. Drawing inspiration from numerous culinary traditions, recipes are included for cakes, cookies, cheesecakes, tarts, pies, puddings and confectionery, from speculaas biscuits and financiers to pavlova, pana cotta and Persian love cakes. All have the Ottolenghi hallmarks of fresh ingredients, exotic spices and complex flavourings, including fig, rose petal, saffron, aniseed, orange blossom, star anise, pistachio and cardamom, to name but a few.
There is something here to delight everyone – simple sweets parents can make with their children as well as recipes that will inspire the most accomplished of bakers.
About the Authors
Helen Goh was born in Malaysia but started her cooking career in Australia, where she had migrated with her family as a girl. After 7 years as head pastry chef at Donovans, a landmark Melbourne restaurant, she moved to London and soon joined Ottolenghi. She has worked closely with Yotam as the lead product developer for the past ten years. Helen draws widely on Asian, Western and Middle Eastern influences in her cooking – and of course, on her love of sweets.

Such delicious and easy to follow receipes
i vowed never to buy another cook book but seeing a friend's copy of SWEET changed my mind. It is fun to read, very pleasurable. The recipes are very interesting and the ones I have tried already proved to be spot on.
Gorgeous book, every recipe was something I'd definitely bake which I find rare in a cook book. Much better than I thought it would be. Definitely a new favourite.
Great books, some really good recipes
The recipient of this gift loves to cook and she has already created many delicious sweets from this book. Ottolenghi is one of her favorite chefs.
Sweet is beautifully written. All of the recipes have been created with care, are easy to follow and ensure delicious results! I purchased this as a gift for my mother but ended up keeping it for myself. Buy and bake!
I am a fan of Ottolenghi's Cook Books. I have also tasted his food in the UK Islington Restaurant. The added bonus of this Book ' Sweet' is the collaboration with an Australian Chef and also reference made to recipes from some of our most beloved and respected Australian Cooks. This book is a joy to have and I can't wait to make some of the recipes.
I love this book and itl will be my go-to recipe book for anything sweet.
Beautiful cookbook, I want to cook everything in it!
