Having recently evolved to just having vegetable meals and using non-meat products like chick peas and tofu for the protein element I saw a review of this book in the Newspaper and got it. I'm quite happy with making my one-pot meals, however, now and again I'd like to try making a different meal. This book has all the guidance at the beginning of what essentials and cooking implements to have in the pantry. The recipes have lovely colour photos so you can get an idea of what your aiming for. It also gives the nutrient benefit of the different vegetables. All together, a very handy book to have now that I don't eat any meat product. Who say's you can't make changes in your 60s.
