Runes of Light is a multidimensional exploration of the runes intended to establish openness and flow. Through the symbols, this is a journey to commune with our deep unconscious, with the understanding that all answers are found in nature and that true knowledge arises by reconnecting to the depths of our inner being.

The runes are an ancient alphabetical system of writing and a sacred system of cosmology for understanding the order of how consciousness evolves. Each rune sign connects with a specific state of energy and reveals a spectrum of motifs to inspire imagination in the seer, bringing forth realisations through living experience.

Through the symbols, we journey into the parts of our deep unconscious to speak to the unseen and for the mysteries to speak to us. Shirley Shantel worked as a creative producer in media and advertising for over ten years, storytelling for brands, threading brand strategy, and working on creative conceptualization for the design of customer experience, producing world-class events and content. Today, she expresses her creative voice for what she believes in, exploring more of her music and art in increasingly experimental ways, dedicating her energies to focus on service to our beautiful planet Earth and the collective well-being.

As a mystic, contemplation in stillness is her medicine, and she channels the inspired flow as an autistic digital artist expressing auditory-visual synesthesia. Her etheric and sometimes otherworldly artistic expressions stem from how she interprets the world as a synesthete – everything begins as a felt vibration and sound takes shapes in colors and flows into form through a multisensory experience.
