About the Authors

Combining their wide-ranging backgrounds in design, textile, and anthropology, Terrell and Carmel Swan founded Catstudio in 2000 to design home furnishings and giftware inspired by their global adventures. Most noted for their hand-embroidered geography pillows, the husband-and-wife team incorporates a sense of playfulness and intricate artistry into each and every design. When they're not chasing new and exciting experiences around the world, the Swans reside amongst the picturesque rolling hills of Northern California in the town of Petaluma. Their designs can be found in over 100 retailers across the U.S.
