There is also a section on Alternative Remedies seldom found in other cat books. And of course, a section on the emotional topics of euthanasia, pet loss and grieving.

It has been quite interesting helping Judith with her book. I have tried very hard to keep her from making any errors in the scientific or medical portions. I have literally worn her out finding source material. I may not totally agree with all of her thoughts but this is her book and her observations are good and will work well for most cat owners and their cats. I ordered this book as soon as it came out. It reads like a guidebook. It's easy to read and comprehend. It's beautifully laid out and extremely well thought out. The hand written notes add a personal touch and makes it not as intimidating to try to decipher. If you have an older cat I highly recommend this book.
