We bought this book to help with travel in New Zealand.
The information is scarce about every location. Only all the expensive places are listed. The maps are not informative, very small, and do not have all roads streets named. No local area road maps. One would think that buying a book just on the south Island would be jammed full of information. Not so. The books that have North and South combined are much better.
