About the Book My Color, Your Color, It is What it is. It is about a 14 years old youth named Maxwell who had a dream. He went to his mom to get her to find a dream book passed down from her mother. He wanted her to help him interpret his dream. In the dream, his mother was pregnant and Maxwell had a mission to bring people together. Eventually Maxwell and his mom discovered that the dream was symbolic of Maxwell new friends of various races/colors in high school. Maxwell was the common denominator. The dream became a reality, when all the youth gathered here and there at a place owned by Mr. Frances, a retired boxer turned mentor and community activist. Maxwell's father used funds saved by his deceased son and increased by community youth works and the family. Antoine, who tutored kids in their neighborhood. Maxwell had a whole new world opened up to him through his new friends.
