For 46 straight years it has been a proud member of three distinguished leagues: the International Hockey League, the Colonial Hockey League, and now, the United Hockey League. And back in the late 1930s and early 1940s, Muskegon was part of the Michigan Ontario Hockey League. Muskegons Hockey fans have enjoyed the sport of hockey with a fanaticsm that other communities can only envy. And why shouldn't they? They have had some of the most dedicated owners, coaches, and players come through their city, bringing with them 12 regular season championships and 8 playoff championships.
