Miss Sue Knows What She Likes

Miss Sue narrates her thoughts about things she likes that make her happy. She hopes to give children thoughts too as to things that make them happy.

About the Author

Leonie West is a debut author, and completed a writing course in 1983, at the Caulfield Institute of Technology. This course was called Foundations in Professional Writing and it covered many types of writing. On finishing the year, West postponed using her new skills and returned to office work. She has now retired from secretarial work and has begun writing for children.

About the Illustrator

Artist and designer Matthew Duncan lives with his Melbourne, Australia. He trained as a graphic designer and now runs his own business as a printmaker. Drawing has been a fundamental expression of his creativity since childhood and has been the focus of many creative projects both in Australia and overseas. Miss Sue Knows What She Likes is his first illustration project for a picture book. When not in his studio, he enjoys reflecting and sketching in a café over fine coffee, and getting out with his family to enjoy places of beauty.
