Our naughtiest national treasure and Number 1 bestselling author takes on Britain and the British

'It starts with the title - the joy of a Full English is in the way a whole collection of wildly different things pile together onto a breakfast plate to make a delicious whole. And well, that's the real secret of Britain and the British - not shutting things out but welcoming in more... (I mean, even our flag is called the UNION Jack)...'

If you've ever wondered why we are so obsessed with QUEUING, we love SMUT but are terrified of SEX; and there are no toilets in the whole of Britain then this book is for you. From SORRY to NICE, from KIPPERS to THE KING and from the strange history of the STIFF UPPER LIP to the Jewish gift to the nation that is FISH AND CHIPS, Miriam's Full English is packed with treats and tasty surprises

'I want to get to the heart of the past, present and future of not just England but all the nations of the British Isles. So this is a book about YOU but it's also a book about ME. Expect memories & mammaries, Arsenal & arseholes, politics, filth, and absolutely everything in between. It's time to make Britain great again and let's do it together, one story at a time.I believe in fairness and fun, free love and free speech, and all of them are under threat. We desperately need an antidote to the naysayers and belittlers, to Nigel Farage and everyone who says "whatever". And I'm hoping this book might do the trick.'
