Returning for a second year at Akarnae Academy with her gifted friends, Alexandra Jennings steps back through a doorway into Medora, the fantasy world full of impossibilities.

Despite the magical wonder of Medora, Alex's life remains threatened by Aven Dalmarta, the banished prince from the Lost City of Meya who is out for her blood. To protect the Medorans from Aven's quest to reclaim his birthright, Alex and her friends seek out the Meyarin city and what remains of its ancient race. Not sure who or perhaps what she is anymore, all Alex knows is that if she fails to keep Aven from reaching Meya, the lives of countless Medorans will be in danger. Can she protect them, or will all be lost? #ExpectTheImpossible.

Raelia, the second-book in the five-part Medoran Chronicles, teaches readers the importance of friendship, loyalty and courage in a fantastical world filled with futuristic technology, strange magic and encapsulating mystery. Readers are invited to embrace the wonder that Lynette Noni conveys through depictions of underwater cities, magical schools, decadent royal palaces, shadow terrains and otherworldly cities.

Loved it!

I've just finished reading this series with my 9 year old son who loved it as much as I did. I've now passed the books onto my 11 year old niece who is also hooked. Fantastic read!

Great Book.

Would be best to read the first book before this book. First book called: Akarnae. A great book for teens aged between 12 - 16 years.

Perfect second book by an amazing Aussie Author!

Aussie author Lynette Noni has thrown protagonist Alex straight into an alternate earth putting her out of her comfort zone. She is in school in a completely new world where people have gifts she has never heard of but just as much teenage angst. The friendship trio of Alex and her two male friends is a breath of fresh air! No sexual tension, just straight up fun, friendship and stirring each other up! The addition of a fourth to their group creates some fun new dynamics. The way Alex builds as a character is very realistic and natural. She is by no means a unattainable girl but very relateable and down to earth. This is the perfect second book in a series, still lots of excitement and plot building, but not stuck in that middle ground that alot of second books get stuck in. Some great new settings and relationships with new characters create lots of excitment. I loved the tension with the villain and can't wait to get my hands on book three in the Medorian Chronicles series, Draekora, releasing on April 1st 2017. I am impaitently waiting!

Amazing! Did not disappoint, just as good as the first one!

Just Amazing!

It is absolutely awesome couldn't put the book down. Amazing sequel to Raelia. I loved every second of it. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a good read!
