"I swear by the stars that you and the others slain tonight will be the first of many. Of that you have my word."

With Aven Dalmarta now hiding in the shadows of Meya, Alex is desperate to save Jordan and keep the Rebel Prince from taking more lives.Training day and night to master the enhanced immortal blood in her veins, Alex undertakes a dangerous Meyarin warrior trial that separates her from those she loves and leaves her stranded in a place where nothing is as it should be.As friends become enemies and enemies become friends, Alex must decide who to trust as powerful new allies and adversaries push her towards a future of either light or darkness. One way or another, the world will change.

Fans of Harry Potter are finding the world of Medora a great option to turn to for delight and discovery, while further comparisons to Narnia, X-Men and Avatar hint at the depth and scope of the world Lynette has created. Teachers are appreciating that The Medoran Chronicles are tales of friendship although dark and evil undertones exist, the central characters are not affronted by destructive bullying.

Draekora introduces more morally grey characters and uncovers fascinating histories which play out in an exciting context. Readers can expect anticipation, wonder and the unexpected as Draekora allows Alex to literally take flight.

Great read for teens and younger

I purchased this book as an Ireader app for my Ipad and had no problem downloading through Booktopia. It was easy as Booktopia sent me the instructions and followed. Great idea for travel and will purchase more in the future.

Quickly becoming my favourite YA fantasy series!

Lynette Noni hit it out of the park with Draekora. After waiting so long after book two to keep reading Alex's story I was disappointed at first when I realised the premise of this book (I can't explain further without spoilers!) however I quickly forgot all about my apprehensions. This story delves very deeply into the past of some characters that had been previously on the sidelines which quickly became very intriguing! You know those moments in a book when something comes to light and your like "AHH It totally makes sense now!". Lynette Noni is now officially the queen of that feeling! This book made so many things make sense that I didn't even know hadn't made sense! So many details that helped make the previous two books even more amazing! I absolutely cannot wait for Graevale to come out on Feburary 1st!

I haven't been obsessed with this series up until this point, but now there is no turning back. This. Book. Is. Amazing. We get to know a slew of characters that have been on the sidelines until this point, and sooo much happens. There's not much I can say without spoilers, so seriously just read this book.
