I didn't know what to expect when first starting to read Man Alive but i was plesently surprised. I found it amazing how a lot of the books principles i could apply to my own life. I really think the author hit the nail on the head in regards to how backward the modern-day diet is. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

A very informative book on the most important aspects of health without being an information overload! At the end of each part there are also easy to follow guides to improve your health.

Jordan is a holistic fitness coach who has written this book to help people transform their health & reap the benefits of better nutrition, more movement & time spent in nature. Man Alive provided me with a bit of a wake up call. While I'm relatively health conscious, I've experienced years of hayfever, eczema, anxiety, muscle aches, digestive problems & recently diagnosed asthma. Bundled together, these symptoms lead to a few frustrations & general fatigue.
It's a jungle out there when we try to understand the latest diet fads & exercise programs. I really enjoyed Jordan's concise, no-nonsense approach to achieving optimum health & I have already implemented some of his tips.
Man Alive provides factual info & relevant resources for you to do more research & make your own choice about the products you use & the food you eat. Jordan's passion & excitement for good health really shines through; expect zero mumbo jumbo & a good sense of humour from this one! While it's aimed at men & their physiology, there is a lot of excellent advice that you can take on board whether male or female.
The book contains tonnes of succinct advice on how to improve your overall health & wellbeing. To give you an idea of what to expect, the book is divided into 4 sections (mind, nature, nutrition & movement) with action points at the end of each. I was inspired to try out Jordan's "Fresh Start" food plan & I've noticed a big change in the first few weeks. Well worth a read!
