The title of Susie's book might give the impression that it could be another of those 'quick -fix diet books. Nothing could be further from the truth. This is the real deal, written by one of Australia's leading dieticians, nutritionists and psychologists. No 'magic powders' or pills to buy from her, just straight-talk and advice, along with tips to assist with your goals, whether they are for 3-5 days, 1-2 weeks, a month, 3 months, 6 months, or lifetime. I'm someone who doesn't mind counting 'calories in and calories out'. It's really not difficult. I dropped a genuine 18 kgs, at about 1.5kgs a week, along with exercise, by doing so. And that's a segue into my only negative comment about the book: Susie lists a lot of beaut, simple recipes, but they don't list the calorie content of each per serve! Yes, I know I can work it out for myself, and I have done so for some recipes, but I think it would be really useful if Susie could add that info to her next edition. Apart from that, I really recommend this book.
