The Twentieth Century separates my father's life of adventure, danger, and challenge. This Twenty-first Century is becoming dominated by Technology. The human spirit needs to be the master of technology or technology will become the master of the human. Dad lived before the automobile, the airplane, the telephone; he lived before the hurry and the worry of so-called modern life. There is a tug in the human heart for the simplicity and the directness of "the life of the frontier." In the "primitive" Indian life and beliefs we find the basic truths of all human life Youth and Age both respond to that search for completeness of life.
