What advice would you give the younger you...and would you listen? As far as time machines go, a magic telephone is pretty useless. TV writer Georgie McCool can't actually visit the past; all she can do is call it, and hope it picks up. Is she going crazy or is this a chance to make things right with her husband, Neal? Maybe she can fix the things in their past that seem unfixable in the present. Maybe this stupid phone is giving her a chance to start over...if that's what she wants...A heart-wrenching - and hilarious - take on fate, time, television and true love, Landline asks if two people are ever really on the same path, or whether love just means finding someone who will keep meeting you halfway.

About the Author

    Comments about Landline:

I love all of Rainbow Rowell's novels and this is probably by far my favourite. Georgie is such an interesting character and the way she goes about life and being an adult is totally relatable for anyone! The way that Rainbow writes in this novel makes it one of my favourites by her mainly because this book has so much dialogue in it which helps tell the story perfectly and helps the reader understand the characters emotions. READ THIS BOOK!!!

A beautiful, haunting love story ... ELEANOR & PARK reminded me not just what it's like to be young and in love with a girl, but also what it's like to be young and in love with a book - NEW YORK TIMES

Cracking, laugh-out-loud dialogue, characters that feel painfully real, and a sweet premise

Witty, original and easy to relate to, ATTACHMENTS is an absolute pleasure - HEAT

Rowell's writing is like a snug blanket you want to wear for days. - Cosmopolitan
