About the Author

Kamikey is a prolific Japanese origami artist who began publishing how-to videos on YouTube in 2015. She has now produced 450 video lessons, and her YouTube channel has 210K subscribers. Initially active as a craft artist specialising in amigurumi, she became engrossed in origami when she became a mother. Leveraging her experience as a crafter, she has created a unique world of origami decorations and gained popularity with videos that are exceptionally easy to follow, even for those with no folding experience. Kamikey's cute style and suggestions for combining decorative elements resonate with women folders in particular. She shares her creative work on Instagram and in magazines. Her books have sold over 300,000 copies in Japan.
