About the Author
Emma studied art at the Royal College of Art . She has worked as a freelancer for magazines, publishers and advertising agencies as well as teaching art for several years, but now dedicates most of her time to children’s books.
All my grandchildren love Lily and her blue kangaroo! I am constantly having requests to read and reread about their adventures. Although strongly didactic, the justice meted out for LiLy's showing off is seen as fair by young readers. My granddaughter Lily especially likes the character as she has a cousin called Amelia as has the Lily in the book. The lovely rhythm of the language and the simple yet effective illustrations make this a book to treasure and reread.
