Sophie has the great misfortune of being the eldest of three daughters, destined to fail miserably should she ever leave home to seek her fate. But when she unwittingly attracts the ire of the Witch of the Waste, Sophie finds herself under a horrid spell that transforms her into an old lady. Her only chance at breaking it lies in the ever-moving castle in the hills: the Wizard Howl's castle. To untangle the enchantment, Sophie must handle the heartless Howl, strike a bargain with a fire demon, and meet the Witch of the Waste head-on. Along the way, she discovers that there's far more to Howl--and herself--than first meets the eye.

I love the Studio Ghibli adaptation, so this was a must read as soon as I found out it was based off a book. I found the story line extremely easy to follow (I'm dyslexic). I love how it fillied in a lot of information that was not given in the movie adaption, all though I was let down with how it ended.

Big fan of the movie and big fan of the book!

If you've seen and loved the movie, I think you'll like this book. I loved the movie and what I enjoyed most about this book is that it filled in some details that weren't made clear in the movie or were changed. I'm relating this book to its movie because to be honest I didn't even know a book existed and I am glad to say I'm pleased there is.
