Industry Reviews

This is an immensely learned and erudite book. Greenberg has mastered an enormous literature, organized it and presented it in an innovative way, and demonstrated unsuspected parallels that cut across religious lines. An invaluable contribution.--Jonathan Sarna, Brandeis University
