Will I still get my order?

On the 3rd of July 2024 Booktopia was placed into a voluntary administration, and trading was ceased.

Unfortunately as a result of this, no orders prior to this date are able to be fulfilled or refunded any longer.

Due to this, in order to obtain a refund for any unfulfilled orders, we recommend contacting your financial Institution to raise a dispute for chargeback with whichever payment method you used to place your order.

How do I know if I am eligible for a chargeback?

If you have any unfulfilled orders from before the 3rd of July 2024, that have not been refunded, you should be eligible to dispute or chargeback your purchase through the payment method you used.

Insitutions have differing requirements for time frames for disputes, so please check with your financial Institution for more information on the process to lodge a dispute for chargeback.

How do I get the supporting documents I need

Most methods of initiating a dispute for chargeback will require a copy of the tax invoice for the order. A copy of your tax invoice can be found through your my account page here.

For any requirements such as proof of contacting the vendor, a link to this help center should suffice, however if not, please send us an email through this help center, and we will be able to confirm that your request for a chargeback is legitimate.

My Bank said I am ineligible for a chargeback?

Unfortunately if your financial institution or payment vendor decide you are ineligible for a dispute for chargeback, we are unable to overturn this decision as this lies solely with your Institution or payment vendor.
