Chrissie and Anthony Foster were like any other young family, raising their three daughters in suburban Melbourne with what they hoped were the right values. Chrissie could not have known that the stranger-danger she feared actually lurked in the presbytery attached to the girls' Catholic primary school. Father Kevin O'Donnell, a long-term paedophile, lived and worked there. Two of their young daughters became victims of O'Donnell. And once the truth was revealed, the Fosters began a battle to find out how this could have happened. The Church offered silence, lies, denials and threats. Meanwhile, their daughters tried to piece together their fractured lives. This is the chilling true story that made national and international headlines. Chrissie Foster's heartbreaking account of her family's suffering, and their determination to stand up for themselves against the might of the Catholic Church, is testament to the strength of a mother's love, and the resilience of the human spirit.

This mother's story absolutely deserves to be read. My admiration for her, and co writer Paul Kennedy is enormous. She is brave and honest, and in telling what happened to her family will help so many others.

Confronting Reading

A book I found hard to put down as I turned the pages. It's an astonishing account of an evil Catholic priest protected by the Catholic Church who violated Catholic primary school children from parish to parish in the State of Victoria, Australia. The story has a profound picture of the parents watching tenderly over their new born daughter as she is baptised at a Catholic baptism service in the chapel in front of the font as the school's priest holds the infant and anoints her with 'holy water'.The picture of the Holy priest who has no fear of the judgement of God, baptising a baby, who he goes onto violate, is pure and utter witchcraft. As you read on, you find out the story is about two beautiful sisters, Emma and Katie, who are betrayed by the school's Catholic priest at a Melbourne Catholic primary school. The parents go on a collision course with the Catholic Church in order to seek justice. Broadly the Catholic Churches policy of celibacy has created a breeding ground for priests to prey on children for their own satanic gratification as the Catholic church flourishes under codes of secrecy and silence supported by bishops, archbishops and cardinals. Once you've read this book, you will take your child out of a Catholic school, you will not suffer to listen to a priest, you will not enter a Catholic Church, you will not step into a Catholic chapel, you will not pass your coins into the collection box, you will not believe anymore in lies, rituals and robes of a false church.
