Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls introduces us to one hundred remarkable women and their extraordinary lives. From Marie Curie to Malala, Ada Lovelace to Zaha Hadid, this book brings together the stories of scientists, artists, politicians, pirates and spies. Each double-page spread contains a mini-biography written in the style of a modern fairy tale and a full-page portrait capturing the spirit of each heroine, by one of the sixty female artists from across the globe who were commissioned to illustrate the book.

Powerful, moving and very necessary, Good Night Stories for Rebel Girl will inspire and delight readers of all ages."

Too good to be true

What a beautiful book!!! A wonderful gift (but i loved it too much so i kept it). What a stunning book. It is also informative, inspiring and easy to read. Highly recommend for all little girls.

The title sucks tbh. But the book is a must for any girl.

I bought this as a gift for a little girl (toddler) so her mama to read her stories of strong Inspiring women as bedtime stories. I think the rebel girls is perhaps sparking the interest of the more mature reader and a good marking ploy with the "social activism feel" But i honestly felt i had to explain that i wasnt going to take her precious angel to the next rally with me. Luckily she loved the inspiring stories inside. Its a must have for all girls. The variety of women in there is interesting too.

Its a beautiful book

I bought this book knowing a general idea what the book was going to be about, and it was better than I thought it was going to be, so good I bought the second one.

Encouragingly courages + laced with sweetness

This book is so sweet but don't be surprised by it's lovely illustrations, all of the 'characters' inside sure do pack a punch! Reading of all the women who have achieved such great things instead of running off into the sunset with their "knight in shining armour" is both refreshing and inspiring. Why has it not been like this all along??

Fantastic book for any young reader

I gave this book as a gift for my 10yo niece and she absolutely loves it! It is so well written, pictured and interesting, it has her engaged and reading a profile of one of the extraordinary women each night which she's never done before so a great way to get her reading.

Inspiring stories about women for all ages

This book can be read to daughters and sons, granddaughters and grandsons, at bedtime...all day long...or casually for inspiration and learning. There is lots to take in about the challenges faced and overcome by the women written about, as young girls, young women or older women....their dreams and how they persevered. As the style is easy and flowing, and each story one page complemented by a stunning artistic rendering of the subject, the stories are perfect catalysts for further research into the lives of wonderful women, role models, friends.
